 Wild Rose Community Connections is committed to providing an essential service to children and families in the Foothills County, Claresholm & Area and Vulcan County. Our 2026 “Feed The Need” campaign for the FoodConnexx program is our primary focus for sponsorship and donations to ensure the viability of a program designed to meet the challenges of food insecurity in the Foothills.

The operational costs associated with delivering FoodConnexx are not typically covered by grants. Direct costs such as staff, volunteer supports and travel are the costs funders are more likely to fund. We do not receive any annualized funding from the Federal or Provincial governments. We rely solely on grants, donations and the kindness of others. The unfunded core operational costs are:

• Rent and insurance $28,080/year

• Utilities/ phone/internet $17,600/year

• Vehicle operations $12,000/year

• Volunteer Gas cards $7200/year
